But even though Luffy lives in the NOW that didn't help him in Sabaody. Isn't it scary that even when you live a just life doing everything in your power to live in the NOW that your actions could backfire on you and you end up losing everyone you care about? Luffy is brave and defiant but it didn't help him when he was at his lowest. How can I stop the machinations of things far bigger than me impacting how I live when even Luffy couldn't at his bravest? I'm weak compared to him. His strength inspires me but I'm still scared things could go wrong for me like it went wrong for him. and Luffy is so much more than I could ever be. If things ever do go wrong for me how could I ever recover? I think the evil could overcome me if it ever decided to.
