ive been using ai a lot recently to create references. im sure theres a lot of other helpful ways it can be used too

Trace things if you want, just be honest about it and give credit if needed.

would ai even be good for references? youd be risking it hallucinating bs (particularly anatomy-related) and that then negatively influencing your work. why not just use deviantart, google images etc?
@Volund it works pretty well for me. while it does make mistakes that really isnt a problem as long as you have a general idea of what your drawing. its also useful for finding non ai generated images across the web that precisely match your prompt. one thing that has helped me once is pasting images into it to have it generate them from different angles to help with how planes(im sure theres a better word for what im describing) warp and move things around.
i hadnt heard of deviantart before. it seems pretty helpful. aside from being blasted with pregnant women and demon wolf hentai

@pawflix just wondering how does tracing work? like is it just putting an image or something because idk if I have been doing it or not
@SomeRandomNoob get an app where you can change the transparency of windows and click through them.
Apparently OnTopReplica is a good tool
